Do these still exist in the Chicago area? In which nursing areas are sign on bonuses most abundant?

Re: Sign on bonuses

Swedish Covanant hospital had sign on bonuses for experienced ER nurses. That is the only one I have seen, although I do not look around very often.

Re: Sign on bonuses

They come and go based on needs. Contact particular hospitals you are interested in at that time and just ask. My place had some recently that were pretty enticing, but most are gone and only apply to particular units. So, varies all the time.

Re: Sign on bonuses

Mt. Sinai is offering a variety of sign-on bonuses. The amount depends on position and department. There's even a $3000 bonus for new grads if I recall.
