Hello!
I have a phone interview with Northwestern for the summer externship program and I'm just curious if anyone has done this and what your expereinces have been. Thanks!

I didn't do my externship at Northwestern but did it at a smaller community hospital. A few of my classmates did it at Northwestern and I feel I received a better experience since I was able to be an extern everyday I worked. They were bummed since Northwestern only let you do it a couple days a week and the other days you worked as an aide. I also got to do the extern past the summer which I understand a lot of hospitals don't do. If you really want to experience Northwestern then I say go for it but I really wanted as much experience being with a nurse before my last year of school.
