Arrow Need advice on Decatur/Springfield area!

I am looking to move to the Decatur or Springfield area. Any advice on good hospitals to work (ICU preferably)? Any wage difference between the two cities? Any hospitals to stay away from? All advice appreciated! Thanks

Re: Need advice on Decatur/Springfield area!

Decatur Memorial is the best in Decatur and St.John's is excellent in Springfield. What the pay is and stuff I cannot tell you. St. Mary's in Lake Shores is Catholic. They are good also. Not very big though!!! Good Luck

Thank you! It is just hard to figure out hospitals and try not to make a bad move from 7 states away.

I understand. By the way they all seem to have friendly nurses. Good Luck and let me know what you decide.

I dont really know about Decatur, however im sure it is wonderful place to work too. Memorial and St. Johns in springfield are both good hospitals to work for. Either one would be an acceptable place to move to.
