I am starting my second semester of nursing school at Triton, and was just wondering if there are any current, past, or "in-the-process" students who wanted to share thoughts or questions on the program. Lemme know!

Hi there.. Just this weekend I began looking into Triton's program... I was wonderful if you could tell me if the general education classes are included in the program (meaning can they be taken concurrently with the nursing classes).. And how long is the lpn-rn program... Thanks

I think the only classes that can be taken concurrently while in the program are: Psych 228/Edu 206, Bis 241 (physiology), Soc 100 and Bis 122 (micro). I am fairly certain that they are looking for people who have filled most of those requirements before entering the program. I took one of those classes during my first semester, and I wish that I hadn't, but it was required for second semester (Edu 206). I hear that it is quite difficult to take the non-nursing classes during the program. Hope this helps!
