RN jobs on the Big Island?

Hi there fellow nurses!
I am new to the forum. I live on the Big Island and am currently doing private duty (which I LOVE) but would like to know of any jobs avail. on the Big Island. I have been an RN for over 25 yrs. and my experiences are varied--ED, CCU, PARS, Hospice Case Mgr., telephone advice, Out-pt. clinic RN, psych., etc. Most good jobs are found by networking. If anyone hears of anything coming up or avail., please let me know.
Also, I know Hi. doesn't require CEUs but I really like going to nursing seminars. Is there a place on the net where I can find out about seminars being held in our state?
I'd like to get to know other nurses who also live on this beautiful isle. Any others out there???

Aloha wainopatty
I am relocating to the Big Island in approximately 2 months. I just finished my MSN and have been applying to hhsc.org in Hilo and Kona. It is difficult getting things rolling from California. You have alot of experience in some great areas of nursing. Where do you live in Hawaii on the Big Island? I would like to make your acquaintance when I arrive. Lynette (Lineke) from California.

Re: RN jobs on the Big Island?

Aloha, I'm new to the site. I've lived in HI for 25 years. Just returned to Big island (Volcano)!! I'd love to know where people are working. I'll be travel nursing for three months on the mainland, But would LOVE to come home for extended stays, I'm interested specifically in agency work. Thanks
