Re: Queen's ICU..

I was born and raised in Hawaii, and went to nursing school in Hawaii. The Queens Medical Center ICUs are the top-notch ICUs in the state of Hawaii. The QMC is the only Trauma Center in the entire Pacific Rim which includes Samoa, Polynesia, Micronesia, etc. The pay is pretty good at QMC and you can go to www.queens.org and go to Nurse Salary to find out how much nurses are getting paid. Please be aware that there might be a communication barrier if you are coming from the Continental US to Hawaii because we speak "pidgin" which is a combination of Hawaiian and Asian languages mixed into one. Hawaii is a beautiful place and although Ive been to 41 countries in my lifetime, Hawaii will always remain my favorite place on this earth. -HawaiiRN808 (now living in Fort Walton Beach, Florida)
