hawaiian culture - odd request

Hello! I know this may seem like an odd request, but I needed to get some information straight from the source.

I'm currently an Indiana nursing student (graduating this May!) working on a culture project for one of my classes. I'm looking for information related to traaditions of the ancient hawaiian culture that are still used today regarding pregnancy and childbirth practices. This may include things such as women's health, prenatal/postpartum care, rituals, family structure, etc.

If there is anyone out there that would be willing to answer some questions for me or point me in the right direction, I would very much appreciate it!

Thanks so much!!!
