Hawaii is lovely, but the cost of living is very high... That $60K won't go as far.... A state with no state income tax may be a good idea...

Thanks for the information. I don't think it is Montana either. I saw an ad on the internet for an LPN job in a state psych hospital in Montana offering LPN's $10 something an hour.

He's with that other travel nurse now!

Hawaii is very expensive! People here work multiple jobs just to stay in paradise. I saw more of Hawaii as a tourist than I do now...almost!

thinking of moving to HI????

Hi,

We have been seriously thinking about moving to Oahu. We have friends that just move there recently. I live in CA and am use to paying too much for everything.

What is the wages for a LVN. Do the Urgent Care's hire LVN's?

Anybody do Massage Therapy out there?? Are they strict with a license for Massage Therapy. I was also thinking about doing the chair massage.

How are the elementary schools on the westside near Makakilo??

Thanks for any help.

Shirl

Last time I heard...Connecticut was the highest paying state in the country. Cost of living is high though. Good luck

I have Hawaii, maryland, newyork, georgia, california and nevada on my mind so far. Is there somewhere that ranks states according to salary for nursing and standard of living. I would like to do a comparison.

cost of living in Hawaii far surpasses the pay...try elsewhere first.
