I will be going into my third semester this Fall, and as of yet, I haven't had a lot of out of pocket expenses that weren't mentioned. I havent had topay $80.00 for a drug screen, as a matter of fact, I haven't had to pay for a drug screen at any price. Neither have I had to have a background check done. It depends on the clinical facility you're at, not GPC. Any additional books that I purchased were strictly on my own, not anything mandatory that GPC required.
Also, during orientation, you'll receive a course syllabus. In the course syllabus there's a section call " course Requirements/Grading". It expalins everything that has to be passed with either a letter grade (course exams), a satisfactory/unsatisfactory (clinicals, lab evaluations), or the testing that you're given more than one opportunity to pass (ERI, Math). If there's something that you don't understand, or simply need a little clarification on, please speak up. Go to your instructor......oh, you'll be given an academic advisor and it's madatory for you to meet with them. You'll also be course advisor that you have to meet with if you score below a 75 on any exam or if you just want to review your test.
I wish you the very best. First semester is very busy, fast. It can be overwhelming for some........most

but nevertheless, it can still be enjoyable. You just can't walk in thinking that it's going to be a piece of cake and you definitley can't compare nursing courses to prerequisits.
Again, I wish you the very best.
Westheat!!!!!!!! I sent you a message to your personal e-mail.
