The main thing to remember is to apply early. They still have more applicants every year than what they have space for. Also, Emory applicants are 1) Students who already have degrees 2) Students who already go to Emory with no degrees, 3) Students who do not go to EMory but don't have degrees. To be honest from talking to students who are in their program it appears that 35% of their students already have a degree.
It is true that Emory looks at the whole application. You might have a strong GPA, but if you want the really good fin. aid then you need to have a strong application...good personal statement and letters of refs. All of this goes a long way. Make sure that your application reflects someone who has taken the time to know why they want to be a nurse..and know your future plans.
