CNA course in Atlanta (Gwinnett)

I want to get CNA certified and get some work experience prior to attending nursing school. What schools can I go to in the gwinnett county area? How long is the course and what kind of pay can I expect working as a CNA? I would prefer not to work in a nursing home. Would I be able to work in a hospital as a patient care technician?
What about a medical assistant course? Which would would be better as far as experience for a future nurse?

Re: CNA course in Atlanta (Gwinnett)

Look on craigslist for CNA classes in your area. I was just on there and saw some being advertised. I hear pay is between 10 to 14 dollars per hour and training is usualy 2 to 3 weeks full time or 4 to 6 weeks part time
