CHANCES scholarship at CHOA

Hi People,

I was awarded the CHANCES scholarship at Childrens' Healthcare of Atlanta and was wondering if anyone out there could tell me how other recipients liked the arrangement. It's a $32,000 for nursing school for three years service in return once i graduate from Brenau in may 2009. I'm actually pretty exicted considering CHOA has applied for Magnet status (i hope they get it) and the few people who i have talked that work there really enjoy working there. Any insight on Children's or the Scholarship and how it worked out after gradutation would be greatly appreciated.

Re: CHANCES scholarship at CHOA

i applied sometime in march before the may 1st deadline this year for this fall (07). When i went to accept the scholarship i asked how many people applied and how many got it. it was like 130 people applied and 10 recieved the scholarship. In terms of scholarships thats not bad odds if you think about it. You do the application and all the requirements and then they interview the finalists and narrow it down after that and about two weeks later you find out. if you'd like to know anymore let me know.
