I'm not sure if this was posted before but I found this info and wanted to share the link. It's for the Nursing Student Loan Forgiveness Program in FL. Could be helpful....
I work at the one of the hospitals that offer it and it was a painless process to get. At the end of this year they will pay $4000 off my loan, and the end of the year after another $4000 and by then it will be paid off. So what would take 10 years of payments for me is taking two years.
I wonder if I qualify as working for the state? I am employed by UF and have state bennies. Worth a shot. Any help with the 40K I still have in loans would be great!
