Need help re: CEU's

Hello! This is my first year in FL (hence the screen name). I moved here from Indiana, where the BON does not have any CEU requirements (can you believe it?!). What I need is help finding where/how to obtain these, preferably for as little cost as possible. At this time, I am not working due to a difficult pregnancy, so I don't have the benefit of asking my unit educator. It's a long story about why I quit instead of taking leave, so I won't go into it here. The hospital I used to work for offers some CE classes, but they charge up to $200 per class for non-employees. I want to maintain my license but I don't want to go broke!!

TIA for any pointers. I live in Melbourne, if that makes any difference.

Smile Florida CEUs

Welcome to Florida! There are many CEUs that can be done on-line. This would be a good option with the difficult pregnancy and all. Nursing Spectrum for example has unlimited CEUs for a low price.

Good luck!
