But thanks so much.....I will start MDC kendall campus on May 2007 to take the Chemistry class(Professor Johann and Lab with Professor Jean mary). Thats all I need, I just sent out the application for the Generic program at MDC, Gpa is 3.1 but I will study my #@% off! Need a A!

I also took a Psychology class Human sexuality just to increase the GPA higher hopefully to a 3.4 or 3.5. Thanks and plz keep in touch..

I started BCC in fall of 2005 after a year and 8 months of being on the wait list.

During the wait, I completed my AA in prenursing for the future BSN so it wasn't a waste of time. Now with My RN I can go straight to RN-BSN program at a university without any more classes!

To check your options I recommend going to the admissions dept. at Med Campus & just looking at the schedules posted on the bulletin board. That's how I found out in advance of receiving documents at orientation.

Hello I read that you are got a scholarship through Baptist and I just wanted to ask you what the committee interview process was like with their board and what type of questions you were asked. I have submitted my application to them and I got a letter from them stating they had received my application and will call to notify me of my interview date and time .... I'm extremely nervous and would very much appreciate any feedback in regards to the interview process and their program. Thanks in advance for your reply!

hey, I went thru the interview for baptist scholars.
they will ask a few questions like:
Why di you choose nursing
Where do you see yourself in 5 yrs
What would you do if you saw another nurse mistreating a patient
Name a time when you handled a bad situation with a coworker successfully--
how would you handle a rude patient/ family member

Thanks for the information, I appreciate it. What school did you get in through, Miami Dade? I'm waiting to get accepted from Baptist through Barry. What is your take on their program ... where they helpful? .... was it really hard?... etc. How long was your contract with Baptist for? If I get accepted I would have to sign a contract for 3 year ... it seems like a long time, but it's a good hospital.
