Just wondering what my chances are of getting into L&D straight out of School? I know Sacred Heart won't hire for L&D w/o at least 1yr experience, but they did tell me that they did hire new grads for Mother/baby unit, and that I might be able to cross over from there. But I haven't been able to find much information about the other hospitals. I have quite a while before I get out of school (haven't even acutally started yet), but I just want to be as prepared as possible, and to know what to expect. Thanks!

I haven't heard anything specifically about it. I am in Tallahassee area and starting pre reqs this Fall. I am wanting to go into L&D as well.
