Galen School of Nursing
|
|
Hi, I am starting Galen next month, and am looking to buy the required uniform from someone. I need the scub top with the Galen logo, and the Galen lab coat.
If there are any recent grads. out there that would like to sell thier scubs, please let me know!!!
Thank you!

The students that I see from Galen just wear standard white scrubs with the schools patch sewed on the sleeves. Maybe different campuses have different uniforms?

Yes... they're just standard white scrubs, with blue trim and the Galen logo (patch) sewn on. They are required, and I'm looking to buy just the scrub top, as I have plenty of other basic scrubs.

Plan on paying around 15-18k. They're not cheap. And if you plan on going past ASN degree (for example, if you want your BSN someday), some schools don't accept their classes for credit, so you may end up taking some over as well.

Tuition is $15,500 a year, which IS high. But I was able to get $2,000 in grants and the rest in Stafford loans. I'm an out of state student, so out of state tuition at a public school would've been about the same for me. And the wait list is much shorter at Galen too.
The LPN-RN program is only a year, with no prereq's.

Please note that we ask members not to solicit one another for uniforms, or other items. Thanks.
Good luck!
