Cool CEUs for FL nurses

I just applied for my FL license by endorsement. I have plenty of CEUs but I am wondering if there is a restriction on how many must be done in attendance at a course/seminar vs how many may be done online? I am also licensed in AL and they require 12 hours minimum by course/seminar and only allow 12 hours of online CEUs.

We(meaning Fl) have a great state nursing department-they are providing for many people. The requirements are specific here and it is always best to call them in person. Do you have the number? If you need it I can get it for you but always get something this important from the "horses mouth"

A new license or transfer from another state? New, within 3 days after testing. Out of state, not sure. Used to be able to get 30 day license by hand delivering apps to state board office.

I am also licensed in AL. I asked the FBON about the CEUS and the answer I got was they can all be self study as long as they are appropriate to the field of nursing. I am very thankful they are not like Al in that respect. I aplied for my Florida license last Oct and received mine within 45 days. Good Luck!
I hope to be moving soon. smjlpn
