I guess all of you are going thru the same feelings I am right now. I have turned in my application at FCCJ for the 2008 spring term and it is killing me. The more I read on here the more frightened I get. This is my first time applying and I am so nervous!!! Any words of advice to get me thru this???

Hey, I'm so nervous too.. How many points did you apply with? I keep telling myself it's out of my hands now but it's still nerve racking..

I only have 184 points without my micro class. I am pretty much telling myself that I won't get in this time. I am going to retake the NAT before applying again. That is the only way to raise my points. If I don't get in I am going to be upset but will try again. I am so nervous and I am having a hard time focusing on anything else. I just wish they were more helpful and that I didn't have to rely on an external website to give me information.

What were your points?

My points were 192.2 I'm still in micro too.. There is a girl in my class with 190 who is applying... There are other people from other semesters w/182 and 183's who got in .. I'm sure you'll be fine can you retake the NAT now?

I will reapply for fall 2008. I figure I will wait and see what happens and go from there. The worst part is, this is my 2nd go at school, and I have gotten all A's since I have been back. Some of my classes are from my first go at school and they are 2 B's and 1 C. I hate that they won't let me retake at least the class I got a C in. I am not the same person I was then. It just frustrates me that I can't really do anything to get my points higher except for that silly test. Totally Sucks!!!!! Can you tell just how frustrated I am. I have only given myself 2 tries. If I don't get in the second time, that's it!!!

But don't feel bad I'm driving everyone around me crazy too! It's just that this is such a BIG deal you know, and anyone who actually apply's has worked HARD to get here!

I've heard that they won't let you retake classes but I did just last sem. I retook human growth I had a b the first time and got an a this time.. I couldn't sign up on Artemis but I called and they got me in.

Oh yeah, I completely understand working hard. You said you were taking micro right now??? Who are you talking and how do you think you will do?

I'm taking Judith Davis I think I'll do fine (she is sooo easy) but honestly I'm hoping to be in before it matters how I do....

That is funny. I have Davis too!! She is easy!! I took her for A&PII and loved her. So I made sure to get her for Micro!!!
