I got my letter today! I'm in too!! (but I don't know if I'm going to go....that's another story....)

I got a letter in the mail today of rejection- stating the cut off was 176 and I had 170....I HAD 190.24!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I called and they told me I'd have to attend an information session in 2 wks- BS!!! I went down there and FINALLY, after being SOO rude to me, they pulled my file and found the error- said they'd mail my packet!

So, I'm in!!!! BUt, how ridiculous!?!?! I was devastated!

Anyways, I look forward to meeting all you guys- will be glad to get my info in the mail

Okay.. as far as night program I don't know too much --I am a day student-- be prepared to get stuck with day program as night time positions are few and far between. The numbers for each term are changed each semester we let in about 144 students (day) for fall. I did take the NAT twice -- you have to wait liek 6 months in between taking it though.-- The study book didnt help me much.. but If you like study books go for it. You will not be penalized for taking it twice.. If I remember correctly I think they can pick and choose your highest scores between the two tests. -- ask before you leap though, I may be wrong!.. keep the questions comming!

If you have questions feel free to ask around-- Enjoy your free time now ( you will not have much when you start) be sure to bring cash with you to orienatation and yes-- you really should shell out the money for that littman stethoscope ((its soo much better than the crappy ones in the book store) GUARD IT WITH YOUR LIFE!

Suggestion for nursing shopping: go to the uniform store at the regency mall tell them you are fccj nursing and youll get a discount!!!

i got my letter today!! i made it!! whoohoo!!
the only thing that confuses me is the immunization packets and all the requirements to meet before deadline. it seems that there are so much to pay for! hehe.. i pray i can find time to submit all the requirements before the deadline and orientation!..

I got mine too!!! (216pts) You guys are right- there is a TON of expensive items to buy and background checks, etc.... I will worry about that later! For now - CELEBRATION TIME!


CONGRATULATIONS to you all! kellej- I am sorry you had to go through that nonsense, but I am happy it was resolved.


I will be going days- see you all in orientation!

So we can buy our uniforms from there? I thought we had to order them??
