Oops! Sorry. I don't know what I was thinking....I know I typed "spring," but I meant summer.

nights/weekends is offered two semesters per year, but it's never "set in stone" about which two it will be....it varies from year to year.

You may want to give them a call (assuming anyone even answers the phone or returns your call!) and ask about summer. another option is to contact cheryl james (nursing advisor) by email....i've had faster responses from her when i email. here is her address: CJAMES@fccj.edu

Or, if you haven't yet handed in your application for Spring, maybe you can hand-deliver it and ask then.

Good luck.

Re: FCCJ Spring 2008

It is so silly the way they do things. I sent Cheryl and email. Like you said calling the office is kinda a waste. If I ever hear back from her I will let you know what the outcome is. Thanks so much!!!

I sent Cheryl James an email and she did confirm that there evening programs were going to be Spring and Summer 2008. I am glad you said something otherwise I would have assumed it was going to be Spring and Fall 2008. Thanks so much for you comments!!!

Re: FCCJ Spring 2008

I turned in my app this past week with 202 points. Does anyone have any clue what the cut off points tend to be for night/weekends? I saw Cheryl James when I turned in my app, and she said it would be 8 weeks from October 1!!! I thought it was more like 5 weeks though!!! I don't know why, but I don't actually feel so nervous waiting....maybe it's the part of this that feels like I'm begging to get into a slave labor boot camp program, but I guess I just know it's going to be a little bit until I find out, so I'm just kind of excited and content to wait until I get an acceptance letter for boot camp training.

Hi.

they always say that--8 weeks. But the folks I know got their letters in about 5....so 5 more weeks from today...let the madness begin!!!

slave labor boot camp program is exactly what it is...

well, more like a slave labor boot camp that doesn't know what it's doing (maybe it's just 1st semester that doesn't have it's kinks ironed out...)!!! and the catch is, you pay around $2k for it! crazy ain't it?

Re: FCCJ Spring 2008

Hey there, Miss Rochelle! I know you're already in the program...how much do you study a night? Is the studying different than what the rest of us are accustomed to? Does it make sense to get any books/study guides ahead of time to study before we even begin? Good luck to you!
