Anyone on here know the requirments for their lpn program at CFCC in Ocala? I am going to the info session but not for two weeks and was just wondering if anyone on here knew. THanks

No I haven't had a chance to go to an info session. When is the deadline to apply? Is there an entrance exam like the one for their RN program?

You have to take the TABE and the NET test before you apply.

The start accepting applications August 1st and its on a first come first serve basis if everyone applying has good scores. They date and TIME stamp your application and from what I have been told there is usually a line at the office on August 1st!

Sounds likes its just as challenging than the RN program. Thank you, you're so full of info!!!

Neither one is to bad. What was happening is the waiting list was getting so long and then about half way through the program they had people dropping or failed out and ended up only graduating about half of what they could. The found that the admission testing weeded out a bunch of those.

Hello! It is nice to meet someone applying at CFCC...I also plan on turning in my application on August 1st. Is there really a line at the office? What time do they open? Also, did you get to take the NET yet?

I have "heard" there is a line. I think at 8am is when the college opens. I was supposed to take my NET today, but I had things come up this weekend and couldn't dedicate the time to study for it. I am rescheduling for next week.

How about you, did you do the NET yet?

I took it last year...just make sure to study a lot for the reading section. The math is not hard at all. You'll do fine. I'll need to retake it though since you need to take it within 6 months prior to starting the program. I might take it next week or the week after. Good luck and maybe I'll see you there!
