any hospitals hiring lpn -new grads?

Hello everyone,
My husband will be graduating from LPN school soon. Anybody know of
any hospitals in Orange or Seminole County that take new grads?
When looking into some hospital websites, it seems like most need at least
one year hospital experience, but WHERE can he get the experience ???
Any input would be greatly appreciated =)

I ran into the same problem...I just finished LPN school last fall and found that none were interested in hiring newgrads bc the positions are few and far between and they want someone who will hit the floor running. I just went and worked in Peds home health...it was better than working in a nursing home (to me at least) and paid more than the hospital would anyway. Im getting ready to go to Valencia for the LPN-RN bridge in January. Ill probably go to the hospital when I finish in a year. If your husband is interested in getting his RN, let him know that Valencia now offers the bridge program online. If he starts his pre reqs now he could finish them by next fall in time to apply for the bridge starting in the spring. good luck!
