State of Delaware Nursing Expansion Scholarships For students enrolled in a Delaware School of Nursing. As part of an effort to address the nursing shortage in Delaware, the State has developed a scholarship program for nursing students enrolled in a two year program with Delaware Technical and Community College (DTCC) and for students in their last two years of study at either Beebe Medical Center’s School of Nursing or in any of the State’s four year nursing programs, such as the University of Delaware, Delaware State University, Wilmington College, or Wesley College.
If selected by the health care facility, funds will be available for tuition, fees, books, and supplies. These funds are not based on financial need, but applicants must apply for financial aid as part of the awarding process. The scholarship award amount may be reduced based on financial aid eligibility. In return, the student will agree to attend and complete the nursing program and accept, if offered, employment with a selected health facility in the State.
What site is available with the NCLEX pass rates for specific Delaware BSN programs? I found a site that lumps the pass rates all together, but specifically, I would like to find (maybe in June) the pass rates for graduates of Wesley College's BSN program -so I can compare them to other schools I am looking at (Shepherd, Shenandoah, York). Yes, I know the pass rate doesn't tell you everything, but it's a starting place to narrow down the list of schools. Thanks.
