Question Peds refresher class?

My wonderful organization has just hired another nurse to work full time with us. I work in a large daycare/preschool including Head Start. Head Start standards want the health people to have peds experience. This nurse was available immmediately, so she was hired. She does not have any peds experience, except for as she puts it, "with her grandchildren". She's a lovely woman, worked with us temping several months ago, but I think she is going to need more orientation to newborn and peds than I have time to teach.

Does anyone know of any peds or maternal-child refresher classes anywhere in CT/ Westchester/ MA?

Thanks,
