Wink Opportunities for LPNs in CT

Hi! CT nurses,
I'm a LPN currently residing in the sweet old peach state. I was wondering how are the job opportunities are in CT for LPNs. Can a single mom with two kids live comfortablely on a LPN salary in CT? I have a friend that's live in the New Britain area and I was trying to move a little closer to them. I would appreciate any advice. Thanks!

Re: Opportunities for LPNs in CT

Honeslty, probably not. In CT a decent apartment (ok area, 2 bed, 1 bath) is at LEAST like $1000 a month, easily. Now of course, yeah the salary is more, but an average LPN in ct makes about $23/hr... hope i helped!
