NCC anyone?

are any of you going to NCC?

have any graduated from NCC?>?

what do you think about the program?

would love to hear from some of you?

so far I think that it is a great program but I don't understand why so many people drop out of it. for example last year out of 104 students starting out only 47 made it to 2nd year. why? I wonder.

thanks so much,
norwalk.

Re: NCC anyone?

Hi right now I’m residing in GA; my fiancé is in the Military in active duty. I’ve completed all my sciences, English, Math, Micro A&P II and more... however I have not taken any Chem. Do you require chem. at NCC? How is the program? How the instructor?. I’m glad you made it. If you really want it, you got it, but some people are just not serious enough for the commitment.

Re: NCC anyone?

That is basically the statistic for everywhere else. I am attending another school in Connecticut and it is the same thing. Last semester in Med Surg 1, more than 12 people flunked out of 28 students. The previous semester was even more. I am happy to be one of the few who is still hanging in there.

Re: NCC anyone?

I am hoping that I will make it to 2nd year, but only time will tell. I wish there was a way to know what the secret is and why some people make it and some don't.

Re: NCC anyone?

Holy cow that is a huge drop out rate. Here at my college in NH we started with 15 last year and lost ZERO. we all made it thru! Now this year, we had an addition of students to make 24 (2nd yr is LPN bridge program) and we had two of the students that began last yr drop for family reasons so we now have 22.
