I need help or advice in regards to arranging daycare for my kids (ages: 2 years and 2 months). I applied for thte UCONN MBEIN, and I'd like to know what the hours are like for the classes and clinicals. Thanks!

Hello,

I went to an Open House on this program last May. Here are some things to think about:

First of all, did you get accepted? This program takes 32 students per year and easily gets five times the number of applicants. I wouldn't worry about daycare arrangements until you are offered a spot in the class.

Second, very little of the bulk of the schedule is predictable. Classes are Mondays all day at Storrs; clinicals can be anytime between 6 am and midnight Tuesday through Sunday. At any rate, you will be in class, clinical or lab about 30 hours per week, not counting travel, prep or study time.

Thanks! with such a tight schedule I wonder how people cope with kids and family commitment. I just pray to be able to pull this off.
