Talking Hospital of Saint Rapheal--Anyone?

Hi everyone! I am set to start orientation next month at Saint Rapheal. Anyone working there or starting soon? How do you like it?
Any info that anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,

I'm getting nervous now. I took my physical last week and took a picture for my badge (it's so ugly). It's begining to feel real now. I still can't believe that I am not going back to school next semester...that I'm done with school (at least for now). I am also still waiting for the ATT to come in the mail so I can finally take the boards. I'm really anxious about that. I hope I pass...in school I was the queen of 'cram-dom' :. I was reading Kaplan's NCLEX review book and I read that that won't work on the NCLEX. I really hope that I can do this....anyway, see you at orientation Missy

Hey, lady, you will be fine.... honest. I just wanted to get mine done as fast as possible...I ended up cramming for my NCLEX-RN, never took a review course and when I was doing it I just kept thinking to myself about the ABC's and patient safety. They gave me lots of strange maternity and AIDS questions and it was mostly scenarios of "you have 4 patients and you are just coming on shift, which of these 4 patients would you see first"... I know you are scared, been there before...when you get that ATT just call them up and take the first date you can and get it over with. Then you'll be psychotic for a while til you find out, but at least the test taking part will be over with. You'll be fine tho...just read the questions carefully, take your time but don't overanalyse them.

I still have to get my physical done and get the badge and all... Gotta talk to Chuck today as I have a few questions. The acceptance letter they sent me has the wrong payrate on it! Also moving alot of my stuff this week, and this weekend will be in a wedding.... when it rains it pours! Cya in July! Good luck!

Hey-
I'll see you guys there too. I love St Rays, I've been a traveler for seven years and worked there twice on contract. Now that I'm settling down, going on full time.
See ya in July
