Hey Missy! I have my NClex on Wednesday!!! and hopefully :crossfingers: I will be an RN by the time I start! I'm so looking forward to it! I know the night of July 11th I won't get any sleep due to the anxiety though. See ya there! Did you get a chance to shadow a shift? It's probably too late but I don't think it really matters. On the day of your physical be prepared to take your badge picture. I didn't know that I was to take my badge picture but I didn't want to drive another 45 minutes to go home and come back another day all spiffed up. So I went ahead and took it and it's HORRIBLE. The lady told me that when I get my RN to come back and that she would add it onto the badge. Hopefully I can just take a whole new pic!: Anyway see ya then
I know I will be nervous as heck too on the 11th. Badge photos always look horrible. So did you dress up professionally when you went in for your physical? I have mine on Wednesday too... But I know you will do great! Cya soon!
Missy, Started CTICU. It's pretty tough learning all the new things but what an awesome learning experience! I met another nurse that works on my unit who posts here too (what a small world!). Nights is hard, but I have a great preceptor! How's it going for you?

Hi everyone! I am set to start orientation next month at Saint Rapheal. Anyone working there or starting soon? How do you like it?
Any info that anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,

Just read your post today so I'm sure you already started...do they hire LPN's? If yes- which dept?
Relax, be yourself, and dont be afraid to ask questions and admit that you dont know something. I've worked for St R's AND been a patient there, and its a great hospital, good luck! Lisa
Most everyone has been wonderful as far as working with, and they are good with questions. An excellent learning environment...
