Question Danbury Hospital

Hi everyone.

I will be graduating from nursing school in one week and am currently looking for a job to start my career in CT. I will be moving from Chicago (my husband is going to graduate school) so I am still trying to learn about some of the good hospitals to work at in the area.

Recently I applied to Danbury after seeing people mention it on this board. Now I have a phone interview later this week and am really excited!!! Can anyone please tell me about their experience with Danbury? Is it a good hospital to work at? I have heard the salary is good, is this true? Does anyone have any suggestion about phone interviews? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Danbury Hospital

I used to live in Ct, and Danbury H was, at the time, one of the best hospitals around. They have good employee retention. People actually began their careers and ended them there when they retired. I heard, and read somewhere, that it is a wonderful place to work. If I move back to CT someday, that is where I'd apply. Good luck!
