Danbury Hospital

Can anyone tell me about Danbury Hospital? What is it like to work there? And are there decent areas to live around there?
Thanks.

Smile Re: Danbury Hospital

Hi! I interviewed there about 3.5 yrs ago and I liked it but went to work someplace else, only because the other place would train me in the ICU. Thats the only advice I can give.

Re: Danbury Hospital

I have worked at Danbury Hospital for 21 years in L&D.. only really know that area well.
Insurance is decent, we are union, our unit is pretty flexible about 8 or 12 hrs shifts not sure about the other units
I live in Southbury, have been here for 21 years as well but have lived in CT my whole life.
Schools are good in this state, taxes are high and home buying is tough.
