Bridgeport HSN or Naugatuck valley CC

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if there were current students from either BHSN or Naugatuck valley CC in CT that could give advice or thier opinion on the programs. I am trying to decide between the two schools and wanted student imput on the programs. would you recommend your school or not?

I am currently taking my pre-reqs at nvcc. I hear from word of mouth that both programs are good. Nvcc has a 1-2 year waiting list though. BHSN list is shorter. People have gotten accepted right after the applied. If you have pre-reqs to Nvcc is a good place to go i like it there. But i am going to apply to both nvcc and bhsn when my time comes. I hope you found this a little helpful.

I graduated from NVCC and they really do have a wonderful program. I've never heard that they have a 1-2 year waiting list though. To my knowledge they have a waiting list until classes start in September in case people decide not to go there they can substitute with someone from the waiting list, but once the school year starts that waiting list goes out the door and you have to reapply for the following year.

I don't know much about Bridgeport Hospital so I couldn't tell you anything about them but I would definitely recommend NVCC.

What semester and what classes to do you expect to take? Im going straight through the summer to finish my pre-reqs faster. I plan to take AP 2 and math 137 in the fall and one core class. Let me know if you have any questions. And good luck on your journey ahead.
