Where do LPN's work?

Can you get work in hospitals, or is it pretty much nursing homes? I am not really interested in a nursing home enviroment, so I was wondering if I do go for my LPN first, where can I get a job?

Unfortunately in CO there isn't much available for LPN's in the hospitals.....psych units, dr offices, plasma centers, jails and other detention centers are places that come to mind that hire LPN's but then they generally don't pay as much as the nursing homes.

Still wondering are there any LPN's in the Denver metro area that work for hospitals such as Exempla, HealthONE, Swedish, or Denver Health? Also, any LPNs in the area working at Denver's Veterans Administration Hospital?
