Hospital vs. Family Practice

Hey everyone, I was just curious what the difference in pay is for an RN working at a hospital, and an RN working a 9-5 job in a family or some other sort of practice? Thanks!

Re: Hospital vs. Family Practice

There is a big difference in pay between the two, with MD offices paying much less than hospitals.

Assuming that you can find an office position that is still using RNs. They tend to be few and far between at least in Denver. Probably about a 20-30% pay hit plus lost opportunity to work overtime.
