Thanks. When did you turn in your application?

I'm waiting for a response from Mount St. Mary's in Los Angeles for their ADN fall program. I just can't be idle anymore, so I'm looking into other states.

Are we going to freeze our Cali butts off in Denver or what??

I turned in my app in late March/early April and heard by mid-late April. I know quite a few nurses who went to Mt. St. Marys and liked it.

And I know I'm gonna freeze my butt off!!!!!!!!!!

I signed the enrollment agreement, but have not heard anything since.

and you won't freeze your ass off...well maybe a little since you two are from cali but denver isn't too bad, not as much snow as you might think. And the upside is, even when it snows it should be gone by the next day!!! Not to mention that the sun shines more days a year in CO than in FL!

has everyone filled out their loan info? I made an appt in July to finish all the paperwork..........I swear it's like signing away your first born!

Hi I will also be starting in the fall hopefully! I am planning on getting my adn! I am really excited but nervous about the financing...thats the only thing im scared for! Anyway, good luck and hope to see you in oct!

My name is David I'm 23 years old from Long Beach, CA. I hope to be attending DSON this fall for the BSN program. I just got back from a 3 week vacation in Panama and I just read the emails about the May 23rd deadline.... hopefully my spot is still available.

I am also going to be starting at DSON in Oct. Moving from the South Bay, Ca.. Did you find out any info about housing options? I just spoke to Jeff J. and he mentioned a couple places.. LoDo, Downtown, etc.. you might want to give him a ring and ask for some more recommendations.

Hi Rasika,
We are looking at places in Aurora right now. I would like to be able to take the light rail to school, and I know there are stops available in Aurora to do this. LoDo is great but a little too pricey right now since I won't be working. Where have you looked? We are visiting July 17th and hope to sign a lease somewhere at that time.

I'm still on the waitlist to attend in Oct which kind of sucks b/c they added 2 pre-reqs for people beginning the January class.

I lived in Denver until a couple years ago. I'm currently residing in northern Japan, but I'll be returning in mid-September. Hopefully I get off that waitlist. It went from 4-24 in the week it took for me to connect with the admissions counselor after sending in my paperwork to confirm my spot. Thank you, massive time difference.
