for us we took both pediatric and obstetric in quarter 3 of 7. i heard they were considering revising the order of the rotations and classes, but i doubt they've changed peds yet, if they will at all.
Hi everyone!! I haven't posted in a while, I have just been reading and getting as much info as possible. As of today, I have a meeting with jeff on thursday morning to take a tour and get everything all figured out, I am also going for my ADN so if there is anyone doing this currently or starting in october, any info would be great!...like...what I should wear, specific questions to ask?? Thanks!! And good luck to everyone!
p.s. how are the actual classes..tough? lots of hw? Not that im not ready for it, im just a little nervous!
cu's hospital does not hire dsn grads at present. cu says it is because dsn is not currently accredited (even though every other hospital in denver, including the level one trauma centers, hire our grads), but we have been told that it is a political issue, since some of the dsn administration were former administration members at cu who left when dsn opened.

I kinda figured it was something to do with politics. I was told by a CU employee to look into the accrediation issue b/c she wasn't sure if they hired DSN grads. I guess they will just have to miss out on some good nurses then.
btw, have you had luck with Denver Health regarding new grad jobs? Are they considered the premiere trauma center in Denver? Thanks so much for answering all my questions!
