Re: Denver School of Nursing

By the way, it looks like I'll be able to come up with the tuition money and attempt monthly. I've managed to come up with 25k so I'm hoping that I can come up with the rest while I'm in school..........

Re: Denver School of Nursing

hi everyone
I live in NorCa. After I have been denied 5/8 nursing schools that I applied this year in Ca, and I can't wait any longer, so I decided to apply to the BSN program, and I'll be started in Oct 6, 2008.
Hopefully I'll see all of you there in Denver someday.

Re: Denver School of Nursing

Thanks much! Micro seems pretty easy compared to the 7months of
A & P I had. I am imagining nursing school to be like A&P all the time. I hope we get to have a little fun somewhere in there... Part of me really wants to get into the July class and the other part says...um ..maybe you should take a couple months off! I have been accepted for the October class for sure so I guess I will just wait and see!

Re: Denver School of Nursing

I'm pretty sure the scrubs thing gets taken care of at the orientation. Does anyone know how soon we are supposed to send back our payment plans?

Re: Denver School of Nursing

Hi:

About six weeks before you start, you will get an email advising you that an initial $3,000.00 payment is due by a specified date (I think it was due a month before I started). This payment covers the first 2 months of school.

As regards to scrubs, there is a scrub store that comes in to sell them. You can also get them at the place of your choice. You can where any scrubs to the labs, but once you start clinicals, you will need ciel blue scrubs. I hope this helps.

Talking Re: Denver School of Nursing

Hi,
I will be attending DSN in October for the BSN program. I am wondering if anyone knows of cheap places to live in Denver? I am unfamiliar with the area. Do they have a board at the school for roommate postings, etc?
Thanks!

Anyone else fill out their SM Loan info yet? I feel like I'm signing my life away.
