Any Graduates of Approved (Non-Accredited) Programs in CO?

Although I am still a student, I have been looking through the job postings in various sites/newspapers in Colorado. It seems to me that a majority of the ads state "Must be a gradute of an accredited program".

I am currently enrolled in a RN program in Florida that is not accredited by either CCNE or NLNAC. (Once in CO, I hope to transfer to an accredited program for my BSN.) In the meantime, am I going to have a horrible time finding a job?

Would any graduates of non-accredited programs share their experiences with me?

Thanks!

I'm not yet a nurse, but from what I've heard and seen...Probably not.
MOST of the metro area programs are not accredited either. Call the BON and see what they think of your particular situation, being both from an out of state school, and a non-accredited program.
