I am very glad to be part of this realy helping forum!
My question is about endorsmen I read about it but maybe you can give me more diteils.
I aplpied to BRN of Ca but I am not sure about working there, and about my husbend's work. Do you think I could apply for endorsmen when I'll find sponsorship and decide about the actual place for living ? And if it wise to do so?

Hi everyone! I am not sure if this post is right for this thread. But I would like to ask if anybody knows about United Staffing Solutions Inc ( a nursing agency in Culver City CA)? A friend of mine just signed a contract to this agency and I want to help her find information about this agency. Hope to hear from you guys...thanks

If you are a foreign grad, and if you do not have a SSN#, then you will not be able to endorse. If you have a SSN# and then can get a license number issued to you, then endorsement is not a problem.

Anything like that needs to go to the International Forum, that agency deals with foreign nurses. But the issue is that the contract is already signed, any checking should be done before the contract is signed. Remember that a contract is a legally binding document.

No matter what information that would be given to you now, a little too late for that.

i currently have LVN in CA and would like to take LPN-RN online class via Excelsior college, but i also found out that CA RN BOARD does not reconize this school's diploma. so I figure another way out is, to take the RN board exam in Neveda, then endorese back to CA and become RN in CA, do you think, can it work out this way?? will the CA RN BOARD let me endorse??

Sorry, but that will not work either. Only NCLEX exam results have reciprocity, you still need to meet the educational requirements of CA. They are not accepting Excelsior grads for the RN. CA will not permit you to work in CA as an RN unless you graduate from a program approved by them.

There are many other bridge programs available to you that are approved by CA, take the time to do some research on the topic. Excelsior is not one of the options for you at all if your goal is to work in CA. Same way that other states do not accept the 30 option plan that CA has. Each state can set their own requirements.....that is their right.

Please check out the International Forum, requirements are much different for you from another country. I also never recommend CA for initial licensure if you trained in another country and do not have a SSN#. The wait is much too long and about one month to get your NCLEX results. Much faster to endorse to CA after having a license in another state.

Best suggestion is to contact the licensing board for the RTs. Each can set their own requirements. The issue is usually with clinical hours, just make sure that the program that you want meets CA requirements.
