Voting for Arnold?

Any California nurses voting to give Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger a second term?

Remember he tried to get rid of the Board of Nursing and other boards?http://www.nurseweek.com/news/Featur...dOfNursing.asp

And the ratios? http://www.lacitybeat.com/article.ph...83&IssueNum=99

Re: Voting for Arnold?

I am not voting for Arnold because of the way he attacked ratios but ...

I am so disappointed in Phil Angelides. When will democrats learn not to support driver's licenses for illegals. Gray Davis' defeat ... and Arnold's previous victory on that issue wasn't enough?

Why democrats support illegals the way they do is beyond me. Political suicide ... really. It's like they're hell bent on losing elections and they're going to lose this one ... again.

Oh I'm afraid you are right. I'm disgusted with both parties but Arnold has proven he can't be trusted.
And he supports to companies that employ illegal workers because they are afraid to complain about unsafe working conditions. The won't report hazards to CalOSHA

Re: Voting for Arnold?

It sounds like the political system there is in just as big a mess as it is in the rest of the country. Many, many voters are finding very little choice
on the ballots. Good luck.

That is why nurses worked so hard to get Prop 89 on the ballot.
Not perfect but now only millionairres and fund raisers can run.
With Clean Money a candidate such as a nurse or teacher can run without the financial backing of the Democrats or Republican party OR the oil companies, HMOs, unions, and pharmaceutical lobbiest money.

Re: Voting for Arnold?

I heard that one the public debate, Phil killed Arnold? I mean, I was living in SF while the nurses unions were fighting him and the police and firemen. I don't like Arnold and quite frankly, he really cannot be trusted. I don't care how good of a job he is currently doing for Cali. I am moving back home next year and God, I certainly hope California is not being run by him again.

Then again, as many have said Angelides isn't giving voters much reason to vote for him. He needed to step up to the plate, but I don't think he did
What's going on with the dems and their choices?

it's very frustrating.

Has anybody seen this ballot?

It's a mile long!

They sure don't make it easy to vote these days.

I'm not voting for Arnold, but unfortunately, I think he has this election in the bag. He turns my stomach.

Re: Voting for Arnold?

I am a pre-req student that will be voting for Arnold. I wish the republicans would get tougher on illegal immigration. I hate that so many jobs state in their job requirement, must be bilingual. I am hispanic, but I do not speak spanish. I reailize that I better learn it quick.. but what I hate is when people automatically assume that I speak Spanish..grrrr.... but that is another topic.. but at least it lets you know why I am not voting for Phil.

I know a lot of Democrats who are against illegal immigration most particularly because of labor issues. They believe illegal immigration depresses wages. I know a lot of Republicans who would like to look the other way when it comes to illegal immigration because it depresses wages! I don't know about this driver's license thing. It doesn't make sense to me and it seems like a pretty dumb move of the part of Angelides. But on the whole, Democrats are not for illegal immigration.
