Re: UNITEK Nursing???

Have heard of it and have seen students go thru it. Just be aware that it is unusually expensive for most.

The bridge program for the LVN to RN is over $30,000 for less than a year program.

Re: UNITEK Nursing???

Unitek is a technical school, or is considered as such. You will not be able to transfer your credits from there usually. It will be much easier for you to complete your RN thru them and then transfer on for the BSN.

Bridge programs are hard to get into in the region and there are many LVNs from other programs that could not get a spot in a community college that has gone thru Unitek for their RN. That is how I have heard so much about it.

Best bet is to contact the programs that you are interested in, but be aware that what ever they tell you now, may not be the case in a year or two. Things are always evolving in the world of schools in the Bay Area as I am sure that you are aware of.
