Stanford hospital - your experience as new grad?

I'm looking to talk to RNs at Stanford Hospital. If you are working with adults (not peds) at Stanford, I'd love to hear about your experiences, what you like, dislike, things you wish you knew, etc. If you recently went through the new grad training program in the last 3 years, that would be a plus. Thanks.

I've been working in the Main OR at stanford for a few months now as a traveling RN. It has been one of the most awful experiences I've had so far as a traveling nurse. They hang the fact that you are a traveler and that they can terminate you at any time over your head. They make unsubstantiated claims about your character and job performance, but when asked to provide information as to what exactly they (supervisors) are referring to they say it's just complaints from people who always complain. However, the supervisors don't support you because you are a traveler. All of my evaluations have stated that I am an above average nurse and always pleasant to work with, but I continue to be told that the infamous "they" are complaining about me. So, to add insult to injury, the supervisor even went so far as to complain to the company I am contracted with over comments that the "they" made to her before she even talked with me about it. I heard from my traveling company before I heard from her. On my first day in the OR I was told by at least three people on their staff that they hoped I would still be here in two weeks because the staff if horrible to a lot of the travelers that come to stanford. There is a lot more to tell, but I don't know how to start a thread about it. I have heard that departments outside of the OR are great to work in, but having taken a position in the OR has proven to have been a mistake for me. Hope it helps to hear a little of my story. Good luck!

Thanks for your input. Sorry to hear you had a trying experience at Stanford's OR.
