Signing Bonus .... a question

Hello all, just wanna pose a question.

Should you get a signing bonus when you commit yourself to an employer? Does it differ from one employer to another? or is it just an incentive?

Thanks for your replies.

Re: Signing Bonus .... a question

I responded to your pm on this very subject. You are getting all of your immigration fees paid for, etc. That is what is usually done with the bonus if one is given. You have actually come out ahead as you will not have to pay taxes on this. Your friends do.

The hospital has a certain amount of many that they can use, you are using it for expenses as far as immigration. If not used for that, they they would give the money to you in a bonus possibly, but it is taxed at a much higher rate, and you usually do not get it all at once.

You made the better deal.
