I am an RN who has never let her license lapse, but have not actively practiced in 6 years. Are there refresher courses in the Sacramento area? Are there jobs out there that would not require a refresher course?

If you do not have current work experience under your belt, then it is going to be quite hard to get a job with any company that requires the RN for the position.

Many of the community colleges in your area have refresher programs available for you.
