Interview process at Lucile Packard

Good Afternoon!

I recently applied for an antepartum/post-partum position at LPCH. I was called by one of the assistant managers to interview and subsequently interviewed with them and another manager and at the end of the interview I was told that they would let candidates know 1-2 weeks later. 1-2 weeks came and went. I tried calling one of the managers several times but I keep getting a message that her VM box is full. I have also followed up with email and received no response. I was able to reach another manager about 2 weeks ago who advised me that I was still being considered and that they were trying to get some travelers up and running and they were finishing interviewing nurses.

Should I keep following up? Does the LPCH hiring/decision process usually take this long? Is this just LPCH not interested in me? Also any input on anyone's experience working at LPCH would be appreciated as well.

I appreciate any input.

Thank you

Even though Stanford and Lucille Packard are under one umbrella, there are two separate processes for hiring at Stanford and Lucille Packard Children's hospitals. It could take a while to get hired at either place. They are processing a lot of new grads, so be patient. I would also suggest you apply at a few other places because both places are very competitive. Good luck.

Yes. Lucile Packard is the Children's Hospital on the Stanford Campus. I was under the impression that they are both affiliated but seperate.

They are affiliated.....Packard comes under Stanford, however Packard does not have any kind of a -partum unit. Do you mean you applied at Stanford?
