Hi everyone. I'm new to this whole thing on here, but I was wondering if anyone out there has heard of Unitek College or went there? Would you recommend it for the Lvn Program or the Lvn to Rn program? I have done some research on the school but nothing current is popping up. I just wanted to hear from maybe current students or recent grads? Any informatin would be greatly appreciated. Im considering this option because i dont want to wait for years to get into a program through a community college. Thanks

Hi, I did consider this program and when I called this is the info that I got just about 2 weeks ago. The Sac campus did not have the LVN to RN yet and they did not know when it would be there. The LVN program is 11 mon. M-F 8-4 The cost includes everything but is $33,298. That is about all I know. There is another school in Stockton if that is closer to you. It is called Xavier College. I am looking into it because it is closer and cheaper. About $20,000 still a lot of money but there is no wait. I want to go on to an RN eventually. I hope this helped a little. Good Luck

As a graduate of Unitek, let me tell you.....Look the other way, do not pass go!

Its just SO not worth the expensive amount of debt the school puts you in. Yes I graduated and yes I have passed my boards...but the experience that I had at that school, in my opinion, do not merit the end result.

Hi thanks for the info. I decided not to go there yesterday. I realized it was not worth $33,000 for 11 months. Im just going to stick with the community college, since i already have all my prereqs done, except microbiology. If anything applying to out of state schools is cheaper than that.

I graduated in March, and when I attended, the tuition was 29,500....so as you can see, the school increases their fees exponetially every year
