Any info on this?

Hi all i'm currently on the waiting list and have finished all pre-req's for the ADN program at the nearest college "50 mile commute one way" sucks but the trade off for living in the boonies i guess. Anyways ive been in EMS for 15 years as a 911 EMT and a ER Tech. So while on the waiting list I jumped into the Paramedic program since I had the time. The governator here in California has been going round and round with BRN and CNA about a Paramedic - RN bridge program. It's passed im told and Marin county seems to be the first to have any info on it. Though it's limited to just the info about grant approval for the program itself. Does anyone else have any info on this?

I understand most would say go through the full program but after working 10 years as a ER Tech in a 1 MD, 1RN, 1Tech 6 bed ER and having to assist on other floors prn i would say this bridge is tailor made for people in my shoes.

Anyways glad to meet you all and looking forward to any info i can get.

Corky
