I applied last spring for this fall and got in. I don't think they have a "wait list", they just rank you by quality points (like GPA) and the top 150 or whatever get in.

during the fall of '06, 400 applied and about 200 got it. suggestion to you would be get as many as your prereqs out of the way and do well in them to raise your quality points.
