Re: New UALR Students?

I applied before the first deadline which i believe was in feb. i put in my app in jan and got my acceptance letter at the end of march when they sent out the first batch. I think if u missed the feb deadline you probably go on the waiting list. I know several people who applied early and are still on the waiting list. Hopefully you hear from them soon! Good Luck, Best wishes!

Re: New UALR Students?

Yes I believe she is faculty. She was the one doing the clinicals at the hospital i preferred so i hope she isnt to hard. I expect the whole thing to be very challenging but as long as she is reasonable im good. :0)

PLEASE REFER TO THIS LINK WHEN POSTING:

You never know who might be lurking and reading these posts. Mentioning names of profs is NOT a good idea.

Thanks, ya'll.

Re: New UALR Students?

Hi i was just curious if anyone has heard anything about how the classes on the st. vincents campus are. I signed up for classes over there and was wondering what to expect. Also wondering if anyone else was going to classes there.

Re: New UALR Students?

Thanks for the replies everyone!

I signed up for classes and clinicals at St. Vincent's, but I don't know much about the classes there. I just figured parking would be better there than on campus LOL.

The countdown is on! Are ya'll ready?

Re: New UALR Students?

I also figured that parking would be better than ualr. I was wondering one class we had to sign up for all of them were on ualr campus but it says something about mandantory meetings once a month. I wonder if that is the only time we have to go to that class and maybe the rest is web based. I got my uniform already and am quite excited i hope the excitement lasts through the first semester at least.

Re: New UALR Students?

I hear ya! I went out and bought uniforms as soon as I left orientation that day, but I'm a dork like that! :-)

I don't know about that oddball on campus class. But, honestly, I didn't even consider the St. Vincent's option until the last minute. I don't remember reading about monthly meetings. Maybe I should go back and reread the handbook! LOL

Does anyone have any experience in the accellerated program?

Re: New UALR Students?

The thing about monthly meetings wasnt in the handbook it was on the website when you registered for the class under it it says something about mandantory meetings on ... and has the dates. I emailed the women today on the st. vincent scholarship cause i hadnt heard anything and she said i would get a call in July for a interview in case you applied and were wondering it will be next month. Im itching to know how things work and what to expect but dont know anyone who has been there.
